Lovely weather

Hope everyone is enjoying this lovely weather we are having. I've been making the most of it, gardening or playing with the horses or both, and just too tired to craft at night!
I finally got round to using some of my new WOJ stamps, this is for my Dads birthday which is coming up in May. What do you think, is it too feminine?

stamps - all WOJ
coloured with distress inks and tombow pens
patterned paper - DCWV Old World stack
flowers - Prima
tea roses - Crafters Dream

Started this card last Thursday at craft club, but i've only just got round to taking a picture because the flowers kept falling off. I've dumped my roll of Zots glue dots cos they just don't keep things stuck down!!! I much prefer silicon for sticking flowers anyway. I not totally happy with the swirl stamps on this i think they should have been inked in brown instead of black!
I did manage to get in the garden over the last two days... not that you can tell! I also found about 6 rabbit holes! flippin rabbits.... got to get them under control some how.
stamp - WOJ
paper - Basic Grey, Two Scoops
swirl stamp - can't remember!!!
coloured with distress inks
flowers from stash

Thursday 9 April 2009

Just a little card i made last week at home, because craft club was'nt on. Marion and I played with our new Stampin' up goodies instead. The colours look a little washed out on Daisy, they really do match the papers in real life. The sketch is from Lim on spoonful of sugar challenge blog last week. Love it and will definately use this one again.

Stamp - Daisy, Sugar Nellie
Papers - Dovecraft
Pearls and brads - Stampin' up
Circles - Nestabilities

I got some really good news this week, we (Bonny and I) passed level 1 in Parelli. We've got a long way to go to get level 2, but i'm really enjoying this journey.
